We Were Fools

We are intolerant, calling people who disagreed with us "shallow,"
thus the failure of our national dialogue lies both with us, and those who held more tempered opinions.

In the early 1970s an SDS thinker used a very helpful phase describing the mode of thinking, that led us to consider the phase was "corporate liberalism."

We think because we are privileged, and relatively wealthy. We can that we can define what is Moral and have issues with Trump and other intolerant leaders with different opinions.

This is a guaranteed way to lose, and allow us to lose the gain of tolerance, that we so badly have to hold on to.

The dividing of partisan intolerance between us is not only intolerant and a sign of our failure to practice democracy.

It also destroys our ability to reform our desired goals of rebuilding American understructure.
